25-Minute Appetizer: Baked, Italian Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

I love making these as appetizers or the perfect Netflix munchies because they are easy to make and oh-so delish! I mean, c'mon, who does not like baked stuffed mushrooms? 

Tiny but flavorful and a sure party favorite!


1 pack of bella mushrooms (around 25-30 pieces) 
7-8 Italian sausages, casings removed
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/2 cup Pecorino Romano cheese
3 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
Salt and Pepper to taste
Olive oil


1. Pre-heat the oven to 400 F 

2. In a bowl, combine Italian bread crumbs, pecorino romano cheese and fresh parsley. Set aside.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Once hot, sauté garlic, salt & pepper and Italian sausages (please don't forget to remove the sausage casings!) Continue cooking for about 2 minutes. 

4. Combine the Italian sausage and garlic into the bowl containing bread crumbs, cheese and parsley and mix well --- this will be the mushroom filling.

5. Gently remove each mushroom stem and spoon a generous amount of fillings on each cavities. 

6. Drizzle a large baking sheet with olive oil and align each filled mushrooms. Bake for about 25 minutes. Serve hot with beer or wine or any fun beverage for that matter!
